A financial services industry veteran, Jun brings over three decades of experience to his role leading Rainier Family Wealth and guiding clients through the wealth management process, coordinating all of the components in a simple, accessible way.
Previously, Jun served at Financial Insights Wealth Management, a Washington-state based regional wealth management firm, as both a wealth advisor and Vice President. He also held a number of roles at KeyBank over the course of his 29-plus year career, including Senior Vice President & Senior Relationship Manager at Key Private Bank, as well as various Retail Banking positions.
Jun earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pacific Lutheran University and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, the nation's premier graduate-level management program focused on the financial services industry. Additionally, Jun holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation, (CFP®), in recognition of his expertise in the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning, and retirement planning.
An active member of the Tacoma, WA business and civic community, Jun served as a Board Member of the Tacoma Community College Foundation between February of 2016 and June of 2024. He currently is a Board Director at Good Samaritan Foundation.
Mike brings over 35 years of experience to his CIO and Portfolio Manager roles. Immediately prior to joining Rainier, Mike served as Senior Portfolio Manager at Financial Insights, a Washington-state based regional wealth management firm where he was responsible for developing investment strategies and managing clients’ assets. Previously, he was Regional Investment Director at Key Private Bank, where he oversaw six portfolio strategists located throughout the mountain and pacific regions. Earlier in his career at Key Private Bank, Mike served as a Senior Portfolio Strategist and provided wealth management guidance for high-net-worth individuals, families, and various non-profit organizations.
Prior to that, Mike held a number of roles at Russell Investments, including Director & Senior Portfolio Manager in the Multi-Asset Solutions Group and served as an Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) for various non-profit client businesses. He also served as a Portfolio Manager and Manager, Research Analyst and Senior Technical Analyst in the firm’s Global Fixed Income area.
Mike has an MBA from Pacific Lutheran University and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
Tim Rhee joins Rainier Family Wealth as Chief Operating Officer and Wealth Advisor. With 17 years of experience in wealth management and private banking, Tim will oversee the firm’s operational activities and ensure its strategic initiatives align with the objectives of our clients. His primary focus will be on developing customized solutions, collaborating on investment strategies, and managing wealth management client relationships.
Tim’s most recent roles include serving as Regional Director of Wealth Management & Private Banking at East West Bank and as Market Executive at Key Private Bank. These positions have provided him with a diverse skill set and invaluable insights, enabling him to offer Rainier Family Wealth clients comprehensive expertise in banking, commercial real estate, investment management, business valuation, succession planning, and trust and estate administration.
Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Writing & Literature from the University of Washington and an MBA from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School and holds certifications from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. Tim also holds Series 7, 66, and SIE.
Diana Danyus brings nearly 40-years of experience in the banking and financial industry to Rainier Family Wealth. She began her career in 1986 at Puget Sound Bank as a teller, where her commitment to excellent customer service and her passion for financial services quickly became evident. After Puget Sound Bank merged with KeyBank in 1993, Diana continued her career there, advancing through roles such as Customer Service Team Member, Relationship Manager, and Branch Manager.
In 2005, Diana transitioned into Key Private Bank, where she honed her skills in account management, loan services, and began familiarizing herself with investment strategies. Over her time at Key Bank, she developed a deep understanding of the banking needs of clients, specializing in providing personalized financial solutions. After a successful tenure Diana retired from Key Bank in September 2024.
Now, as a Customer Service Associate at Rainier Family Wealth, Diana is excited to leverage her wealth of experience to provide exceptional service and expert financial guidance to the firm’s valued clients.
